Having a long weekend this last days of April to Labor Day. Before the long weekend is coming. I’ve tried to inquire to Camaya Coast and Five Fingers in Bataan. But is too expensive and I’m not a diver to explore the Five Fingers also i heard that Laki Beach is already closed. Until i saw the post of “Pobreng Wanderer” in DIY Tours Page in Facebook. For only Php. 899.00 All In Daytour for Cabongaoan Beach & Deathpool with Food. As in All In Tour na po iyon.

Brief History: Cabongaoan Beach is a pristine beach located in the town of Burgos, Pangasinan. It lies in the coastal barrio of Cabongaoan. The town of Burgos may not be famous for many but this town is also a home for some of natural wonders like white-sand beaches and falls that will surely be loved by many. There are resorts that can be found in the area but it is said to be owned by a foreigner. The water at Cabongaoan Beach is very clear and tranquil making it ideal for for swimming and snorkeling. The area of the beach is very calm where people can sense serenity. It is still in under improvement. The powdery sand is one of the features of the beach because its color is comparable to other famous beaches in the country. The area is really beautiful. The fresh air from the coast is very refreshing and relaxing. The view of the area is so awesome especially during sunset, an ideal subject for photography. The locals are so blessed to have this one of a kind attraction that would not require them to travel from a far place just to experience the true nature's gift. The beach is frequently visited because of its distance from the town proper and uneven road. The travel time will take more or less 2 hours from the town proper. Maybe those are the reasons why the area is hardly to develop. Food stores are limited so you better pack enough food and drinks if you wish to visit the beach. At the town proper, visitors can buy food at Burgos market especially seafood. The beach is really an untouched paradise that will surely be liked by the tourists. The area has a great potential to be one of the well-liked destinations in the province.

Kaya dahil sa mura kinulayan ulit namin ang plano na outing. But this time my co-founder Camille Tancinco and Shey Coderis will not be join in our tour due to some work related engagement, pero may mga new neophytes kami. First is our Boss Madam Caren Garcia and his Hubby Kuya Dexter, my friends Vanessa Cabria and Regina Mangio. Since we born from a DIY trip. Nag avail kami ng tour on Mr. Jear Law and Ms. Charm Aurige of Pobreng Wanderer as a joiners. First time kami naging joiners at naging maganda ang bonding especially sa lunch overload. Kung susumahin mo kasi if you are DIY tripper mapapagastos ka talaga! compare sa package nila.

April 29, 2017 past 12 midnight we meet at Mcdo Munoz together with other joiners Mr. Carlo from DOST and the Tres Marias from Tandang Sora QC. It’s been 7 hours of travel to see the hidden and uncrowded beach of Pangasinan. Although the Patar Beach of Bolinao is too popular in Pangasinan this Cabongaoan Beach is hard to reach due to some improvements in development in that area we travel 6 hours to reach the Burgos Proper and 1 hour travel to Cabongaoan Beach because the way on site is zigzag rough road. Need to be patient to reach this site. At 7:30 in the morning we reach the Cabongaoan Beach.

The Rivera Resort is our crib for the joiners of Pobreng Wanderer. At that time we take our breakfast and preparing for the exploration in the famous Death Pool.

The Cabongaoan Beach will have a yellowish sand, beautiful rock formation and the famous deathpool, although wala pang namamatay sa deathpool.

From Rivera Resort we walk and trek for almost 30 minutes to see the rock formation and the deathpool.

Konting paalala lang sa mga pupunta sa Cabongaoan Beach. Magsuot ng trek slippers or makapal na tsinelas masyado kasi mataas at matulis ang mga bato sa area.

The deathpool is given name by one of the blogger who visit in that area. But as per sa Tourism ng Burgos, Pangasinan wala pang kaso ng namamatay sa Tidal Pool na yan. Deathpool is 20ft. deep and as per one the diver who try on DeathPool. Masyado daw mahirap kasi at that time malakas ang alon. Nahirapan siya umahon kasi yung alon from above is malakas tapos yung lagoon is hinihigop siya pababa. Much better if u have mobile phone for pictorial please be use the waterproof case.

Every moment during our travel hindi nawawala ang aming Signature Dab Pose para saan pa ang pagiging DabPackers namin kung wala ang Signature Dab Pose.

Right after the conquering the DeathPool ang na feel namin finally nasa mataas na lugar kami no more waves hahaha.., something bit of scary first time. When we trek medyo matulis ang mga bato sa area niya talaga. May ginawa din Station of the Cross dun sa hill pero nag focus kami dun sa may cove ng Cabo Beach.

When we reach the hill of Cabongaoan Beach, nagtake muna kami ng rest. And also having a pictorial with my gang. When the Mongcupa Sisters are arrive that group is a part of our Joiners Team. The Mongcupa Sisters also known as Tres Marias on our Team. Is having a bond with the DabPackers.

After the pictorial at the hill of Cabo Beach. Siyempre it’s time to swim the Cabongaoan Beach is also have an Unnamed Cove, that cove is too small but don’t worry give me a chance to give that name; ahmm.. “ The Pobre Cove” to give a honor to the Pobreng Wanderer who bring our team at that place.

That area it contains of yellowish sand and rock formation also we have a baby deathpool at the center area. Hindi mo siya mapapansin kasi nakatago siya mga 2ft din ang deep niya nagulat kasi ako dahil bigla ako lumubog.

After the swim in Pobre Cove, the challenging is yung pabalik another 30 minutes of trek and walking hahaha.., But don’t worry worth it naman ang lunch kasi talagang ginalingan ang pagkain hahaha..

Our food is included on the package. Kay sarap kumain ng boodle fight that food will be prepared by our Organizers Mr. Jear , Ate Dell and Ms. Charm. Sa pagkain pa lang sulit na Kanin, Inihaw na Bangus, Inihaw na Liempo, w/ kamatis and sibuyas na may bagoong tapos may bonus pang Pineapples.

Kaya yung daytour namin sa Cabongaoan Beach is totally worth it. For 899 pesos is totally worth exntend lang ng patient sa biyahe but its worth it tanggal ang stress mo guarantee.

For those interested to visit that place and avail the packages you may call or text Mr. Jear Law and Ms. Charm Aurige at 0906-0466216 or please like in facebook the page of; Pobreng Wanderer or Dabpackersphilippines.

Recomendation:

Please wear the trek slippers or yung mas makapal na tsinelas and extend your patience sa biyahe.
